Qualifications

• Basic Life Support certification (AHA or Red Cross).
• Speech-language pathology certification (ASHA).

Responsabilités

• Plans and conducts language habilitation, rehabilitation, and counseling programs.
• Evaluates patients after impairment, injury or disease.
• Creates individualized, patient-centered treatment plans based on evidence-based practice.
• Re-evaluates progress and contributes to discharge planning.
• Supervises students and assistants delivering treatment.
• Participates in interdisciplinary care planning and makes recommendations for interventions.
• Delegates and guides supportive personnel in services.
• Maintains timely documentation as required by policy and providers.
• Uses professional judgment to ensure safety for patients and staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned and participates in quality initiatives.
