Job summary

Dartmouth Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients based on medical referrals, set goals, plan and execute therapy, and provide discharge instructions and family teaching.

The position is 32 hours per week with a day shift, includes a comprehensive benefits package, and requires NH licensure (active provisional or full) plus current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• New Hampshire Speech Language Pathologist licensure required; active provisional or full license accepted.
• Current BLS Certification Required

Responsibilities

• Based on medical referral, evaluate, set goals, plans, and executes treatment with discharge recommendations and family teaching.
• Determines the need to refer patients to other diagnostic, medical, and therapeutic services.
• Participates in departmental programs such as in-service education, student programs, volunteer/observation programs, committees, etc.
• Provides documentation and record keeping. Coordinates scheduling of patients and meetings.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.
