Qualifications

• Current California SLPA license in good standing.
• At least 2 years of pediatric speech therapy experience.
• Availability to provide services during hours, primarily M-F 2:00–5:00 PM PT.
• Experience using telehealth platforms.
• Strong communication, organization, documentation, and time-management skills.
• Ability to independently manage scheduling and documentation responsibilities.
• Reliable high-speed internet, a computer with audio/video capability, and a private workspace for telehealth.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized virtual speech and language therapy sessions under supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Implement established treatment plans and interventions.
• Deliver client-centered sessions, typically 30 minutes long.
• Complete accurate, timely daily documentation in Fusion by Ensora Health.
• Communicate with supervising SLPs regarding client progress and scheduling.
• Collaborate with SLPs, OTs, ABA providers, caregivers, and care team.
• Provide caregiver education, coaching, and home-program support as appropriate.
• Participate in supervision, team meetings, and continuing education meetings.
• Maintain HIPAA, ethical, professional, and documentation standards.

Job description

Location: Remote, serving clients throughout California.

Position Type: Part-Time, 1099 Independent Contractor.

Compensation: $35--$43 per hour.

Schedule: Availability needed primarily Monday--Friday, 2:00--5:00 PM Pacific Time.

We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our multidisciplinary telehealth practice. In this remote role, you will provide virtual speech and language therapy to children and adults across California under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). You will support clients with a range of communication needs, including speech and language disorders, autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, AAC needs, feeding, and cognitive-communication challenges.

What You’ll Do

• Provide individualized virtual speech and language therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• Implement established treatment plans and therapeutic interventions
• Deliver engaging, client-centered sessions, typically 30 minutes in length
• Complete accurate, timely daily documentation in Fusion by Ensora Health
• Communicate with supervising SLPs regarding client progress, clinical needs, scheduling, and care coordination
• Collaborate with SLPs, Occupational Therapists, ABA providers, caregivers, and other members of the care team
• Provide caregiver education, coaching, and home-program support as appropriate
• Participate in supervision, team meetings, and continuing education meetings
• Maintain HIPAA, ethical, professional, and documentation standards

Required Qualifications

• Current California SLPA license in good standing
• At least 2 years of pediatric speech therapy experience
• Availability to provide services during agreed-upon hours, primarily Monday through Friday between 2:00--5:00 PM Pacific Time
• Experience using telehealth platforms
• Strong communication, organization, documentation, and time-management skills
• Ability to independently manage scheduling and documentation responsibilities
• Reliable high-speed internet, a computer with audio/video capability, and a private workspace appropriate for telehealth services

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Experience serving both pediatric and adult clients
• Experience with AAC
• Experience providing caregiver coaching and home programming
• Prior telehealth experience
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
