Job summary

Sigma Health Rehab is actively seeking a part-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to work in a Skilled Nursing Facility in New York. The successful candidate will administer evaluations, develop treatment plans, and monitor residents’ progress within a collaborative rehab team.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited SLP program and a current New York State SLP license. The role offers a supportive environment with opportunities for professional development and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited SLP program.
• Current New York State SLP License.
• Evidence-based practices per ASHA are followed.

Responsibilities

• Administer Speech Therapy evaluations & examinations to diagnose residents & develop treatment plans.
• Monitor residents' progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Record information on the initial evaluation, treatment, progress, and discharge of clients.
• Observe and assess the progress & prepare detailed reports.
• Maintain resident confidentiality of information.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, or standards.
• Maintain a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members & contribute to a team effort.
