WellSpan Health in York, PA seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, hearing, and swallowing disorders. This role works within an interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based therapy at an entry to intermediate skill level.

The position requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, licensure upon hire, and Basic Life Support. PRN schedule with 24 hours weekly, including some weekends and holidays, is offered.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Upon Hire is required.
• Basic Life Support certification Upon Hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Examines, tests, diagnoses and administers remedial treatments for speech, language, hearing and swallowing disorders.
• Reports patient progress to the rehabilitative team for medical necessity and functional goals.
• Provides instructions in therapeutic procedures to be continued by the patient.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to achieve treatment goals.
• Stays compliant with safe patient handling during transfers and positioning.
• Supervises Rehab Aides as required by PA practice act.
