Job summary

WellSpan Health in Ephrata, PA, is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time day shift (8:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m., Mon-Thu, negotiable Fridays). The role evaluates and treats speech, language, hearing and oral motor disorders and works with an interdisciplinary team to support patient-centered care.

Applicants must be a licensed SLP with CCC/CF eligibility and BLS. The position includes opportunities for professional growth, supervision of Rehab Aides, and ongoing documentation of

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist upon hire.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Graduate of an accredited program in speech-language pathology.
• Successful completion of CCC or CF required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, tests, diagnoses and treats speech, language, hearing, and swallowing disorders.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to achieve patient goals.
• Documents patient progress and maintains medical records.
• Provides training to medical/nursing staff in SLP techniques.
• Supervises Rehab Aides as required by PA practice act.
