Summa Rehab Hospital in Akron, Ohio is seeking a Part Time Speech Language Pathologist to join our patient‑focused rehabilitation team. You will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders in a state‑of‑the‑art inpatient setting, collaborating with physicians, therapists and nursing staff.

Requirements include a graduate degree in Speech Language Pathology, current state licensure, and CPR/BLS; CCC from ASHA or CFY is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current State Speech Language Pathology License.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or CFY status preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsabilités

• Assesses, diagnoses, and treats speech, language, cognitive, communication, voice, swallowing and related disorders.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care in an inpatient setting.
• Integrates hospital mission and guiding principles into daily practice.
