Job summary

Kansas City Public Schools in Kansas City, Missouri seeks a Part Time Speech Language Pathologist to support students with communication disorders and develop individualized education plans. Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or closely related field.
• Demonstrated experience providing speech-language pathology services to students in grades K-9.
• Missouri Board of Healing Arts Licensure or ASHA CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence).

Responsibilities

• Identify students with communication disorders and recommend/timely implement treatment.
• Develop and implement IEPs for each student within required timelines.
• Provide direct and/or indirect SLP services to students per IEP goals.
• Maintain records for Medicaid billing, progress reports, and logs.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, physicians, and administrators to ensure compliance.
