Job summary

HealthPro Heritage is seeking a part-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Clayton, NC to provide outpatient services in a residential setting. The role offers roughly 10–15 hours per week at about $50 per hour, with some benefits and a flexible schedule to fit lifestyle.

The SLP will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible
• Certification from ASHA (CCC-SLP) is required
• Strong assessment and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities using standardized tests and clinical observations. Develop accurate diagnoses based on assessment results.
• Implement evidence-based therapies for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders; monitor and adjust treatment plans; educate and support patients and families on disorders, treatment strategies, and daily communication improvement.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaboration: Work with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.
