Job summary

Corewell Health Taylor Hospital in Taylor, MI is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, fluency and swallowing disorders in children and adults per physician referral. You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote independence after discharge.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology with ASHA certification (CFY acceptable) and Michigan licensure, and has

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required and eligible for ASHA CFY/Cert.
• Experience with neurological speech-language disorders (aphasia, apraxia, dysarthria, dysphagia).
• Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology in Michigan or temporary CFY licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
• Evaluate referred patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team to promote patient independence post-discharge.
