The University of Chicago Charter School Corp in Chicago, IL invites applications for a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant for the 2026/2027 school year. This part-time, 20-hours-per-week, 10-month position supports the Speech Language Pathologist in implementing treatment plans and conducting screenings at the South Side campuses.

Requirements include an Associate’s degree in speech language pathology, a valid Illinois SLPA license, and experience with diverse student populations.

Qualificações

• Associate’s degree required in speech language pathology.
• Valid Illinois SLPA license issued by IDFPR required.
• Experience with children from culturally diverse backgrounds preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to collaborate.

Responsabilidades

• Provide treatment following protocols or plans designed by supervising SLP.
• Assist with screenings for speech, language, and hearing; set up testing equipment.
• Track and document student performance and report to SLP.
• Manage scheduling and educational supports; perform clerical duties.
• Other duties as assigned.
