Job summary

Qualifications

• CPR Certification Required AND Specified Medication Trained (or willingness to become Certified/Trained in both).
• Must have satisfactory background/fingerprint checks as required by the Tennessee State Department of Education and state law.
• Must meet health and physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• The Instructional Assistant (SPED/CDC) is responsible for assisting the Teacher to provide a self-contained special education classroom.
• Work with small groups of special needs students, provide toileting and feeding assistance as needed.
