Job summary

AIS Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Specialty Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to support patients in the greater Orlando area. This clinic-based role involves managing implanted intrathecal pumps, patient education, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The position offers a 20-30 hour workweek, with paid travel time and mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for ongoing clinical education and certifications.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing
• Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience
• CPR certification required
• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mobile devices
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments
• Refill and program implanted intrathecal pumps
• Monitor pump functionality and check for complications or infection
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and symptom management
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Manage ongoing care for patients receiving pain management therapies
• Support quality improvement initiatives and clinical best practices
