Job summary

AIS Healthcare in the Orlando area is seeking a Part-Time Specialty Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to support patients with implanted intrathecal pumps across Greater Orlando. This clinic-based role offers 20-30 hours per week, with paid travel time and mileage reimbursement.

You will perform assessments, pump refills, dose adjustments, patient education, and collaborate with physicians and pharmacists. Requires current RN license, CPR, 3 years’ experience, and ability to travel; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current RN license in good standing.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum of 3 years clinical nursing experience.
• Ability to obtain additional licenses if needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments.
• Refill and program implanted intrathecal pumps.
• Monitor pump functionality and assess for complications or infection.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and symptom management.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Implement physician orders and communicate changes in patient condition.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Manage ongoing care for patients receiving pain management and spasticity therapies.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and clinical best practices.
