Job summary

San Juan School District seeks an Elementary School Teaching/Special Education Teacher for a part-time (.50 FTE) role. You will support students with special needs by delivering district-approved curricula, tracking progress, and creating a safe, inclusive classroom.

Candidates must hold or be eligible for a Utah Professional Special Education Teaching License with Mild/Moderate Disabilities or Severe endorsements and demonstrate collaborative, student-centered instruction aligned with district

Essential Duties & Responsibilities (include, but not limited to)

Under the general supervision of the School Principal, to maximize the learning experience of students with special needs, in academics, interpersonal skills and activities of daily living by implementing district approved curriculum; documenting teaching and student progress/activities, outcomes; addressing students' specific needs; providing a safe and optimal learning environment.

Salary

Placed on Licensed Salary Schedule . Placement is determined by education level and years of experience. Experience credit will be awarded for the first ten (10) years of certified experience in an accredited school.

Hours

part-time .50 FTE, to begin ASAP
