Qualifications

• Minimum of 48 college credit hours or the ability to pass the ParaPro Test.
• Ability to transport students and assist with transitions in a school setting.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in transporting students to ensure safe arrival to destinations.
• Assist with IEP test accommodations and related supports.
• Distribute materials to students and staff.
• Maintain manual and electronic documents and records.
• Monitor students to identify issues and support success.
• Prepare written materials and reports as needed.
• Provide classroom supervision in the teacher's absence.
• Register new special education students and orient them to programs.
• Respond to inquiries and provide information or referrals.
