Job summary

Burke School in Peabody, Massachusetts is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional to work 19.5 hours per week, starting immediately. You will assist students individually, in small groups, and in larger settings to reinforce learning and support classroom goals.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, with an associate degree or 48 college credits or Parapro/WorkKeys, CPI training in the first year, and strong interpersonal skills. Bilingualism is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or 48 college credits or Parapro/WorkKeys completion.
• CPI training must be completed in the paraprofessional's first year.
• Ability to use or willingness to learn appropriate technology.
• Background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident status.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Bilingualism is highly desirable but not required.
