Job summary

Brightmont Academy in Naperville, IL is seeking a Part-Time Special Education Instructor for One-to-One Learning. The role uses provided curriculum (APEX Learning) to implement IEP accommodations and modifications.

The ideal candidate has an LBS1, Bachelor’s Degree, and experience with ASD/ED/SLD settings. A case manager handles admin tasks, allowing you to focus on the student.

This position offers a flexible schedule and hourly pay between $30 and $40, with no lesson planning or outside work.

The special education teacher would use the provided curriculum (APEX Learning) and provide the accommodations and modifications necessary based on the IEP in order for the student to be successful. The ideal candidate will have experience working in ASD, ED and/or SLD programs. We have a case manager that will handle the bulk of administrative duties, we really need someone who can focus on the individual in the classroom.

• A Bachelor’s Degree and an LBS1 certification
