Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one or designated support to the assigned student throughout the school day.
• Assist the student in accessing instruction and school routines alongside licensed staff.
• Modify or adapt materials and activities as directed by instructors.
• Reinforce academic concepts and skills previously taught.
• Support the student's functional communication across classroom and school environments.
• Assist with use of communication systems and visual supports when applicable.
• Promote social interaction, turn-taking, and self-advocacy per educational plan.
• Maintain student privacy and dignity during personal care and activities.
