Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or 48 semester hours or passing ACT WorkKeys.
• Ability to meet suitability criteria under state law.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates support for the school system's vision and goals.
• Present lessons or portions to students and check work for accuracy.
• Assist students with books, computers, and materials.
• Keep routine attendance and grade records as assigned.
• Transfer students on and off buses and assist with mobility as needed.
• Assist with toileting, feeding, and hygiene support for students.
• Support field trips and supervise bus discipline when required.
• Assist teachers with behavior management and crisis intervention as needed.
• participate in IEP meetings, and ensure confidentiality of information.
• Maintain reports and correspondence promptly and accurately.
