Second Baptist School is seeking a part-time Spanish Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year at SBSUM South Campus. The candidate will plan and deliver Spanish lessons, emphasizing language skills and biblical context, while fostering student confidence and cultural understanding.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in Spanish or related field and demonstrate strong Christian testimony, with prior Spanish instruction experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; emphasis in Spanish, education or related field preferred.
• Strong proficiency in spoken and written Spanish.
• Teacher certification from state agency or school accreditation agency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Spanish lessons aligned with curriculum goals.
• Teach Spanish vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening and speaking skills.
• Differentiate instruction to meet varied learning needs and readiness levels.
• Observe and evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback.
• Assign and grade classwork, homework, projects, quizzes and assessments.
• Maintain biblical discipline standards and communicate progress with parents.
