Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Part-Time Spanish Teacher to provide Spanish language instruction for students in Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade during the 2025–2026 school year. The ideal candidate will bring passion for the Spanish language and the diverse cultures of the Spanish-speaking world, as well as a commitment to supporting the pastoral values and evangelical mission of the Church.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Spanish language lessons for students in TK through 8th grade.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students across multiple grade levels.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and administrators to support student learning and school initiatives.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate Spanish instruction with cross-curricular learning when appropriate.
  • Foster a respectful, inclusive classroom environment rooted in Catholic values.
  • Participate in relevant school events, meetings, and faith-based activities as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Teaching credential preferred.
  • Experience teaching Spanish to elementary and/or middle school students.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and the mission of the Church.
  • Native or near-native fluency in Spanish.

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
