Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Spanish.
• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Education or Spanish preferred.
• Prior teaching or tutoring children, preferably in elementary school or licensed childcare.
• Warm, nurturing personality with passion for world languages and cultural education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Spanish lessons to Lower Elementary students (ages 6-8) with focus on vocabulary, basic conversation, and cultural appreciation.
• Use hands-on and interactive teaching styles (songs, games, storytelling) that complement the Montessori environment.
• Collaborate with the Elementary Program Director to integrate curriculum into the weekly schedule.
• Maintain a peaceful, respectful classroom atmosphere following school-wide positive discipline techniques.
