Christ’s Church Academy in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a part-time Upper School Classroom Teacher for Spanish. The role emphasizesBiblical integration in instruction and collaboration with the Upper School Principal.

The teacher will foster a Christ-centered learning environment and support school events as needed. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of related experience, a bachelor’s degree or higher, and must obtain Florida DOE and ACSI certification.

Qualifications

Three to five years of experience in a similar capacity, preferably within an academic environment.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in education or a specific subject-related field.
Must have or be willing and able to obtain Florida Department of Education certification.
Must have or be willing and able to obtain ACSI certification.

Discipline students and help them know Jesus, transformed by Jesus, and on mission with Jesus.
Maintain a professional and orderly classroom environment.
Integrate Biblical principles throughout lesson plans and activities.
Use varied instructional methods and data-driven instruction.
Keep students actively engaged and manage expectations and rules.
Develop lesson plans meeting yearlong objectives and standards.
Teach assigned classes per scope and sequence and assess student work.
