The Thoreau Club's Spa Services Department is seeking a massage therapist to support daily operations in a hybrid role with approximately 10-15 hours of hands-on massage therapy. The candidate must be available for at least one weekend day and two evening shifts per week, with a focus on delivering high-quality services to members and guests.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Massachusetts Massage Therapy License.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional massage therapy sessions (30/60/90 minutes) to members and guests.
• Conduct thorough client intake to identify goals, medical conditions or contraindications.
• Deliver tailored sessions and aftercare recommendations.
• Promote rebooking and distribute business cards to encourage repeat visits.
• Maintain treatment rooms and restock supplies; follow sanitation standards.
• Arrive punctually for shifts and communicate any emergencies.
• Complete required annual training and attend mandatory meetings.
