Qualifikationen

• Graduate of a school of Sonography and completed required clinical hours OR registered sonographer.
• Associate Sonographer: no experience required; ARDMS/ARRT/CCI or Registry eligible with BLS; state licensure may be required.
• Sonographer: 1+ years of relevant experience; ARDMS/ARRT/CCI and 2 registries; BLS; state licensure may be required.
• Advanced Sonographer: 2+ years; ARDMS/ARRT/CCI and 3 registries or 2 registries and 5 years; BLS; state licensure may be required.
• Senior Sonographer: 2+ years; ARDMS/ARRT/CCI and 4 registries or 2 registries and 7 years; BLS; state licensure may be required.

Aufgaben

• Perform ultrasound procedures with independence and judgment for radiographic diagnoses.
• Assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.
