Job summary

Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City – South is seeking a part-time, PRN Sonographer to perform ultrasound procedures with minimal supervision. You will supply prescribed sonography exams for radiographic diagnoses and may assume responsibilities in designated sections, aligned with Mercy’s mission and service standards.

The role requires graduation from a Sonography program with clinical hours, ARDMS/ARRT/CCI certification (or eligibility); BLS within 30 days. State licensure may apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of Sonography with required clinical hours.
• No experience required.
• Certification: ARDMS/ARRT/CCI and registries with timelines; BLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures with independent judgment.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and optimize imaging for radiographic diagnoses.
