UVA Outpatient Imaging Culpeper is seeking a Sonographer I for a Part-Time Flex role with evening and weekend shifts. The position offers flexibility to pick up additional hours based on department needs.

The center provides ultrasound services including general ultrasound and breast imaging, with training and mentorship in breast imaging to develop specialized skills while working with an experienced team.

Qualifications

• Up to 1 year of experience as a licensed Sonographer.
• Must be graduate of an approved diagnostic sonography program.
• Registered or eligible for ARDMS/ARRT certification recommended.

Responsibilities

• Performs sonographic procedures as requested for interpretation by a licensed independent practitioner.
• Ensures services are performed in a safe environment in accordance with guidelines.
• Maintains equipment and participates in quality assurance activities.
