UVA Outpatient Imaging Culpeper is seeking a Sonographer I for a Part-Time Flex role with evening and weekend shifts. Training and mentorship in breast imaging will be provided, offering a path to develop specialized skills in a patient-focused outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved diagnostic sonography program.
• RDMS or ARRT(S) certification as required for IDTF/ non-IDTF centers with RVT if applicable.
• Up to 1 year of experience as a licensed sonographer.

Responsibilities

• Performs sonographic procedures as requested for interpretation by a licensed practitioner.
• Maintains safe environment and adheres to guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Provides education to patients, students, and other health care providers.
• Assists in gathering sonographic data for diagnostic interpretation.
