Job summary

NetApp in Wichita, KS is seeking a motivated college student to join the E-Series engineering team as a part-time student contractor. You will assist in datacenter maintenance, run tests, and write automation scripts to support the E-Series product line.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an educational or professional program.
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems is preferred.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Perl, Bash) is a plus.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket and VSCode is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with scrum teams and test engineers to construct and maintain hardware configurations.
• Assist in validating customer use cases and ensuring seamless integration of new features.
• Participate in lab environment management, including equipment setup and troubleshooting.
• Contribute to development and refinement of automated testing processes.
• Execute manual and automated tests.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with industry practices and technologies.
