About the Department

The Social Sciences Department at Perimeter College is a dynamic, multidisciplinary community dedicated to bringing learning to life. The department's 64 full-time faculty are committed to engaging students in an access, 2-year environment in meaningful discussions, hands-on learning, and real-world applications of social science concepts. The department offers courses in a wide range of fields, including History, Political Science, African-American Studies, Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Education, Social Work, Gerontology, Anthropology, Homeland Security & Emergency Management, and Women's, Gender, & Sexuality Studies.
