Job summary

Metropolitan State University of Denver seeks part-time affiliate faculty to teach in the Human Services major and related concentrations such as Addiction Studies and Trauma/High‑Risk Youth. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Human Services or related field.
• LAC and State approval may be required for Addiction Studies classes.
• Experience teaching in higher education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned classes in person or online, delivering course content to students.
• Prepare course materials and lesson plans, grade student work, and provide timely feedback.
• Answer student questions in line with policies.
• Provide academic support as needed.
• Deliver instruction aligned with syllabus and department policies.
• Comply with student evaluation of instruction policies and peer observation.
• Adapt to new modes of instruction and support diverse student populations.
