Job summary

Indiana University’s Luddy Administration is seeking a student content creator for the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering Marketing and Communications team in Bloomington. The role centers on creating, filming, and editing social media content to highlight student life, academics, research, and events.

You will collaborate with ambassadors and volunteers to organize content opportunities, ensuring content aligns with Luddy’s voice and brand.

Qualifications

• Currently an undergraduate student at Indiana University.
• Experience with multimedia tools and meeting deadlines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pitches creative social media content ideas for student life, academics, research, and events at Luddy School.
• Plans, films, edits, and delivers engaging photo and video content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and other platforms.
• Writes draft captions and helps develop content in line with Luddy School voice and brand.
• Coordinates with student organizations and volunteers to recruit participants and content opportunities.
• Serves as liaison between Marketing and Communications team and the student community, identifying stories and opportunities.
• Manages content projects from concept to completion, communicating progress and deadlines.
