Staffmark Group in Riverside, CA is seeking a Part Time Social Media Project Assistant to support the Housing and Human Services Department by creating engaging social content and coordinating campaigns across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.

This role offers hands-on experience in digital communications, content calendars, event coverage, and community engagement while upholding branding standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in marketing, advertising, communications, public relations, social media management, or a related field.
• Experience creating and managing content for social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and similar channels.
• Experience developing content calendars, coordinating campaigns, and supporting community engagement initiatives.
• Experience working with government agencies, nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, or other public-facing organizations is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Housing and Human Services (HHS) Department by creating engaging communications and social media content that promotes programs, services, events, and community resources.
• Develop and publish content across multiple digital platforms to increase community awareness and engagement.
• Create graphics, photos, videos, captions, and marketing materials aligned with organizational branding and messaging standards.
• Maintain social media content calendars and coordinate posts around campaigns, events, and department priorities.
• Monitor social media performance metrics and recommend strategies to improve engagement and reach.
• Attend community events to capture real-time content and support outreach efforts.
• Collaborate with department staff, community partners, and stakeholders to communicate important information to residents.
• Ensure all content is accurate, accessible, timely, and consistent with established brand standards.
