The role supports the athletic program under the direction of the athletic director and requires safe coaching practices and reliable supervision. Applicants must have a high school diploma, coaching experience, a valid Texas driver’s license, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in sport coaching.
• Valid Texas driver’s license.
• 21 years of age or older.
• CPR certification.
• Knowledge of Catholic Diocesan policies.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and coach students to develop soccer skills and abilities.
• Manage and supervise athletic activities, contests, and practices to promote growth, teamwork and sportsmanship.
• Work with staff to plan instructional goals and objectives for student athletes’ development.
• Establish performance criteria and evaluate athletic abilities for students.
• Ensure safety and proper use of equipment and facilities.
• Coordinate with the athletic director on scheduling fundraising events and other activities.
