Job summary

Tice Valley Post Acute is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate, develop, and implement personalized treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. The role emphasizes compassionate care and collaboration within an in-house rehabilitation team.

The ideal candidate will hold or be eligible for a state SLP license, have CCC-SLP preferred, and bring dedication to helping patients achieve their highest function.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
• Current state Speech Language Pathologist license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings.
• Provide speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing therapy services.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation per facility and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, and other team members.
• Educate patients and families on goals, progress, and home strategies.
• Participate in care conferences and interdisciplinary meetings.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal and company policies.

Education
