Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
  • Current state SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • CCC-SLP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings.
  • Provide speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing therapy services.
  • Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in accordance with facility, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
  • Educate patients and family members regarding treatment goals, progress, and home strategies.
  • Participate in care conferences, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable state, federal, and company policies and procedures.
