Job summary

Applitrack is seeking a part-time Speech and Language Pathologist for Special Education. The position supports students with educationally significant speech/language disorders and requires a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, GA licensure, and a valid GA driver’s license.

The role involves RTI participation, comprehensive evaluations, and delivering therapy services while collaborating with school staff and families to ensure positive outcomes for students.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
  • Georgia SLP license and/or teaching certificate and valid Georgia driver’s license required.
  • Professional work experience in speech/language preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Identify students with educationally significant speech/language disorders.
  • Participate in RTI for students suspected of having a language disorder.
  • Receive referrals from the SST following the RTI process (initiated by staff, parents, or student).
  • Complete comprehensive evaluation of all referred students.
  • Complete all due process paperwork for placement of students into speech-language therapy services and maintenance of students already identified.
  • Provide appropriate and effective speech-language intervention across articulation, language, fluency, and voice.
  • Communicate effectively with other school level professionals to provide the most appropriate program for identified students.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding student's disabilities and progress.
