Job summary

Young World Physical Education is seeking a Part-Time Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves planning and delivering speech-language pathology services to students with communication disorders under the supervision of the Coordinator of Evaluation & Program Compliance – Special Education.

Qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a valid Texas license. One year of supervised clinical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Texas license in speech-language pathology granted by the SBESLPA (State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology).

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide individual and group therapy to students per IEP goals.
• Evaluate student progress and determine readiness for termination of therapy.
• Conduct independent evaluations to assess eligibility for services.
• Maintain and file required reports and records.
• Collaborate with teachers and involve parents in therapy goals.
