Northwest Regional Education Service District is seeking a part-time Speech Language Pathologist for the Vernonia School District. The 0.5 FTE position focuses on case management, SLPA supervision, and collaboration with the Special Student Services team.

The role offers a licensed salary schedule under a negotiated contract and requires Oregon licensure. The SLP will work 20 hours per week across 192 work days, supporting students with diverse communication needs.

Qualifications

• Licensure through the Oregon Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathology.
• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Experience with children with a variety of disabilities and needs.
• Valid Driver's License; available transportation and proof of auto insurance.

Responsabilités

• Deliver and manage speech-language pathology services within a school setting.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support communication goals.
• Plan and implement evidence-based SLP services aligned to IEPs/IFSPs.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and eligibility determinations.
• Provide supervision to graduate students or SLP-Assistants as needed.
