Job summary

EXPRESS IT OF TOMS RIVER LLC in Toms River, NJ, seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Part-time role with at least two afternoons weekly, potential for a more permanent position as caseload grows.

Requirements include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, NJ state licensure, and CCC-SLP from ASHA preferred. Pediatric experience is a plus with strong communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current NJ state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
• Experience with pediatric patient populations is a plus.
• Strong diagnostic, clinical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, and staff.
• Ability to manage caseload efficiently while maintaining high-quality care standards.
• Some continuing education in orofacial myofunctional disorders and swallowing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, educators, and caregivers
• Provide education and guidance to patients and their families regarding therapy goals and techniques
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
