Qualifications

• Must be able to work 24 hours per week.
• Must pass the company's interpreting skills assessment.
• Must attend a 40 hour New Hire Training.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective video relay service, video remote interpreting, and on-site interpreting.
• Support and model the company’s mission and values.
• Provide excellent customer service.

Skills

Fluent American Sign Language

Fluent spoken English

Accurate interpreting skills

Understanding of Deaf culture

Strong interpersonal skills

Education

State licensure or state-required credentials

Three to five years of experience in interpreting
