Allegria Village, a vibrant senior living community in Dearborn, is currently hiring a Part-Time Shuttle Bus Driver to join our transportation team. This is an on-call position with weekend availability required.

We’re specifically looking for safe, customer-focused drivers—ideal candidates may have backgrounds in bus driving, delivery driving (e.g., DoorDash), or transportation logistics, but must also have strong interpersonal skills and experience working directly with people.

About the Role:
You’ll play a key part in ensuring our residents travel safely and comfortably to their medical appointments and recreational outings. You must be confident operating a wheelchair lift and assisting passengers in and out of the vehicle with care and professionalism.

What You’ll Do:

Safely transport residents to and from doctor’s appointments, shopping trips, and social outings (e.g., casino trips)

Assist residents with getting on and off the vehicle, including operation of the wheelchair lift (prior experience is a strong plus)

Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles before and after use

Keep accurate logs of vehicle usage and report mechanical issues or driver-related incidents promptly

Coordinate vehicle availability and scheduling as needed

Provide courteous, helpful service to residents at all times

What We’re Looking For:

Valid Chauffeur’s License and Driver’s License (required)

High school diploma or GED

At least 2 years of professional driving or transportation experience

1–3 years of customer service experience

Comfortable assisting seniors and handling mobility devices and personal items

Strong safety awareness and attention to detail

If you're a reliable, people-oriented driver who enjoys helping others and maintaining a safe, smooth ride—we'd love to hear from you!
