Job summary

The Tile Shop is seeking a part-time Sales team member to assist customers in our Maryland showroom. You will collaborate with interior designers, homeowners, and trade professionals to recommend products that fit space, style, and budget.

You will build relationships, educate customers on installation and product use, and strive to meet personal and team sales goals while maintaining a professional appearance and attitude.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate strong work ethic and drive to exceed expectations.
• Open to learning and growing independently and from feedback.
• Able to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced showroom.
• Detail oriented with good time-management.
• Ability to visualize design elements: color, texture, style.
• Basic math and computer skills for transactions and scheduling.
• Read, write, and speak in English.

Responsibilities

• Work in our Showroom with Interior Designers, Home Owners, and Trade Professionals.
• Provide recommendations to meet space, style, and cost requirements.
• Build lasting relationships by exceeding customer expectations.
• Understand installation and use of all products to educate customers
• Understand and track established individual sales goals
• Track store orders and provide customers with product updates
• Present yourself in a professional manner at all times
• Meet Sales expectation goals personally and contribute to team goals
• Other duties as assigned
