Caleres’ Famous Footwear is seeking a Sales Associate who thrives in a fast-paced retail setting and loves helping customers find the perfect shoe fit. You will create an inviting in-store experience, stay informed about fashion trends, and share knowledge with customers to drive loyalty to our brands and our company.

You’ll support store operations, engage customers with enthusiastic service, and collaborate with the Store Sales Manager to meet daily goals.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to build constructive and effective relationships within the store.
• Demonstrates an ability to communicate positively with store associates at all levels.
• Must exercise independent judgment and discretion partnering with Store Sales Manager as needed.
• Strong working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including holidays, nights, weekends and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Ace Retail Operations: You’ll ensure daily store tasks (pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment and inventory) are dialed in, keeping the store running like a tightly laced sneaker.
