Job summary

The Popcorn Factory is seeking a Shipping - Picker to accurately select products matching shipping labels and prepare orders for shipment. This role operates in a pick-and-pack environment within the Shipping Department, with flexibility to support other areas as needed.

Strong attention to detail, legible handwriting, and the ability to read shipping information are essential. Shift includes 1st shift with part-time hours and potential transition to full-time hours as business needs dictate.

Responsibilities

• Pick the correct product number to match the shipping/mailing label
• Verify the correct quantity of products is picked
• Personalize products using a paint pen or marker as required
• Pack products for shipping
• Use a tape gun to prepare packages
• Affix shipping labels correctly to boxes
• Place completed boxes on conveyors or pallets for shipping
• Ensure finished goods meet or exceed customer shipping requirements
• Inspect outbound shipments for damage
• Perform inbound and outbound data entry accurately and in a timely manner
• Prepare outbound shipping labels, packing lists, and Bills of Lading as needed
• Ensure outbound shipments are complete and all required paperwork is accurate
• Assist with loading trailers in a timely manner
• Assist with the planning and arrangement of goods within the offsite building
• Assist with reporting shipped volume to the Manager
• Support additional Shipping functions as needed
• Assist fellow team members and other departments when needed
• Maintain the health, safety, cleanliness, and security of the work environment
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
