Job summary

Advantage Solutions seeks an engaging Shift Coordinator to assist with daily store operations and support demo events at our Cypress location. You will help open/close operations, ensure safety and cleanliness, and educate customers during product demonstrations.

Role requires 18+ years, ability to lift 50 lbs, and availability for 2–3 shifts per week including weekends. Training provided; growth opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
• Are 18 years or older.
• Available to work 2-3 shifts per week, including weekends.
• Can lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and stand for up to 6 hours.
• Are comfortable preparing, cooking, and cleaning work area and equipment.
• Are comfortable supporting demo events, ensuring carts, equipment and supplies are set up and removed properly.
• Engage Costco members through product demonstrations and education.
• Assist with food safety, sanitation, and daily safety inspections.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members.
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills.
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store operations, including opening and closing operations for events.
• Support adherence to safety, customer service, product quality, operations and store cleanliness standards.
• Influence buyer behavior through customer education and product demonstrations.
• Demo products and educate customers during events.
• Prepare, cook, and clean work area and equipment as needed.
• Set up and remove carts, equipment and supplies for events.
• Engage Costco members through product demonstrations and education.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation and daily safety inspections.
