Job summary

Club Demonstration Services is seeking a Shift Coordinator to support in-store events, assist with opening and closing tasks, and help run daily store operations with a focus on safety and customer service.

You will engage Costco members through product demonstrations, educate customers, and promote the brand with enthusiasm. Training is provided, with opportunities for growth and additional hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner.
• Are 18 years or older.
• Can lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and stand for up to 6 hours.
• Are comfortable preparing, cooking, and cleaning work area and equipment.
• Are comfortable supporting demo events, ensuring carts, equipment and supplies are set up and removed properly.
• Engage Costco members through product demonstrations and education.
• Assist with food safety, sanitation, and daily safety inspections.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members.
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills.
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

The Shift Coordinator, while performing breaks or events, will influence the buyer's behavior through customer education, engagement, and enthusiastically promoting and demonstrating the product.
