Job summary

Central Oregon Community College seeks a Part-Time Instructor in apprenticeship trades to deliver courses across classroom, remote, or online platforms. You will guide discussions, assess student progress, and collaborate with JATC and COCC staff to support learners.

Qualifications

• Requires teaching in apprenticeship trades with classroom, online, or remote delivery.
• Experience with interactive, hands-on teaching methods preferred.
• Willingness to travel and teach at various hours and locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in apprenticeship trades courses in classroom, remote, or online delivery mode using established course outcomes.
• Attend regular trainings as scheduled by the department or College.
• Perform other essential duties and tasks specific to each location, as assigned.
• Cooperate with BOLI Approved Standards and JATC.
• Provide student assistance with JATC employers and COCC Apprenticeship coordinator.
• Instruct content using interactive, hands-on teaching methods.
