Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is seeking to hire a Part Time Service Technician. This position involves client facility walk-throughs, audits, and inspections. The technician will report to the Service Manager for maintenance instructions. This is a long-term, part-time role requiring reporting to client facilities for several hours each day.

About the Position:

• Daylight shift
• Long-term, permanent position (based on client contract)
• Flexible schedule, compatible with other jobs
• Approximately 4 hours per week

Key Duties:

• Conduct daily and weekly refrigeration inspections and provide basic maintenance support for industrial accounts in food, beverage, and refrigerated storage equipment (100 HP to 5,000 HP)
• Visually inspect and report findings on plant refrigeration equipment to customers and the service manager
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the service manager

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED; HVAC tech school preferred
• At least 1 year of industrial HVAC experience preferred (training available)
• Universal EPA certification preferred
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening, criminal background check, and driving record check
• Professional appearance and grooming
• Ability to climb 40-foot extension ladders and work on various ladders
• Good vision and hearing to monitor industrial equipment
• Effective face-to-face, phone, and email communication skills
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, and squat for extended periods
• Work in extreme temperatures (above 100°F or below 10°F) with appropriate PPE
